Elevated 'Unable to connect' and other connection errors

Our monitoring indicates the problem is resolved for nearly all new connections. If the editor is still failing to load, please try waiting a few minutes and, if it still hasn't loaded, try hard-refreshing the project page.

The error rate has mostly returned to baseline. We are working with our hosting provider to confirm that the issue is resolved.

Some users are sporadically seeing 'Unable to connect' messages when they try to load the editor, and other connection-related problems in the editor. The underlying problem is that handshakes for websocket connections are failing. We are investigating.

Most users have reported that keeping the loading screen open and waiting a bit longer for the editor to load allows them to access affected projects.

If the project does not load on its own after a few minutes, please try closing the browser window completely and restarting the browser; this has also helped in some cases.
